EPA should exercise its authority and responsibility under The Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to prohibit the addition of artificial fluoridation chemicals to the drinking water because the now informative science on drinking fluoride is substantial and deeply worrisome. In over 190 new published fluoride-brain studies, the deep, broad and redundant science is significant.
Today in 2017, medicine and science have laboratory and testing tools never imagined, or even considered, when drinking fluoride was deemed "safe". This petition is a "watershed" that shows the significant risks that are now more fully known. The EPA should not have a "Flint-like" complacency but should be actively protecting citizens, children and the next generation.
